Southern California's vibrant surf culture, a defining characteristic of communities like Oceanside, will be celebrated in the Oceanside Museum of Art's newest exhibition, "Surf Culture: Art of the South Coast." Opening July 6 and running through October 27, the exhibit will feature a diverse collection of paintings, photography, sculpture, and mixed media works from local artists, all inspired by the ocean and the surfing lifestyle.
