Oceanside's Energy Infrastructure Upgrade Program, projected to save taxpayers an estimated $26 million, has earned global recognition as one of the twenty most innovative government infrastructure projects. The city received the Smart 20 Award at the Smart Cities Connect Conference.
The award acknowledges the city's initiative in partnership with OPTERRA Energy Services.
